初ユニバしました．会社同期と研修の週末に挑んできました．もうもう楽しかったです．ディズニーよりすごいかも．ディズニーと違って，各方面の人気作品を題材にできるのが熱そう．
7時半に行列に並び，8時過ぎに入場．まずはニンテンドーワールドと思いつつ，行きがけにハリドリに並んでみむとしました．ノーマルとバックドロップがあると聞き，バックドロップを選んでみました．元々ジェットコースター好きなので，新感覚の後ろ向きコースターにワクワクです！順番が迫るほどに同期くん不安がってましたが，大丈夫大丈夫と言っていざ搭乗！マジで怖いです．ノーマルジェットコースターで感じた事のない，お腹の浮きとG．それが繰り返し襲うコースター．最後の横向きが急に変わるベクトルでやばいです．失神するかと思うぐらいですが，おおおおぉぉぉぉぉーーーー！！してました！，また乗りたいやつナンバーワンかも．同期もギリギリ耐えとは言ってました．
そして，足を踏み入れたニンテンドーワールド．圧倒されました．土管トンネルでワープした先にあったのは，マリオワールドを濃度200%で圧縮した世界は大興奮不可避です！そこいら中にクリボーやらノコノコやらハテナボックスやらサンボやら，ほっホントに現実か？と思うような世界でした．そこで乗ったのはドンキー．．．ではなくマリオカート．さすがに混みすぎでした．マリオカートも120分待ちですが，そこまでならディズニーでも慣れてるレベル．同期とどうでもいい話をしつつ，研修の話をしつつ，仕事の話をしつつ，いろんな話をしつつ，途中でメカクッパと写真撮りつつ，クッパ上の図書館すげぇって写真を撮りつつ，二時間ほど経過．いざ搭乗です！マリオカートをしながらコイン取ったり，敵に甲羅投げたり，大興奮なうえに結構長く楽しめます！そして，100点突破がちょっと嬉しいやつです！
それから，ヨッシーのやつ乗りつつ，遅れてきた同期と合流，ウォーターワールドで時代を経ても霞まない圧巻のショーを楽しみつつ，ハリポタワールドへ行きました．アズカバン以降は本で読んで，映画も履修した民なので，ホグワーツは激熱です！杖やローブはその値段にちょっとちょっと諦めましたが，ホグワーツの写真を撮りまくり，ホグズミードの写真を撮りまくり，ウィザーディングワールドオブハリーポッターで大叫びして，再びホグワーツ背景で写真を撮り，バタービールを楽しみ，大満足なハリポタでした．しかし，杖6000円は解せぬ．．．プラスチックの棒に…杖で魔法かけるやつはめっちゃやりたかった．
その後．．．何だっけ．．．バタービール飲むために，一旦三人で離脱，チャッキー行ってから，体調崩して保健室で寝てた同期と合流，再びハリポタを四人でシングルライダーする．シングルライダーで行ったのにめっちゃ近くて，あれこれめちゃくちゃお得では？？になりつつ，再び大叫び．
その後，フライングダイナソーに再びシングルライダーで挑み，大叫び．高所恐怖症的にはこれが一番恐怖でした．ギリギリ耐えられるが，真昼間だったらやばいかも．．．むしろ高所恐怖症克服に使えるかもしれないけど．．．昔は歩道橋も，家の二階も上がれないレベルだったので進歩しましたね．そこからナイトパレードで大はしゃぎし，最後にもう一つホラー系のやつと，ミニオンに乗って帰りました．白塗り女子普通にかわいかったです．竹馬ゾンビは普通にすごい．チェーンソーゾンビはちょっと怖い．．音が．
ちなみに，どんどん離脱，途中帰りして，残ってたの三人でした．おい遊園地楽しめよ理系達．
そして，帰りに，同期が電車を乗り違え，それを待ってたりして，最終的に12時帰宅．なかなかハードで超楽しい初ユニバでした．ちなみに，この翌日も観光に出向いてます．

My First Universal Studios! A Day of Screams, Magic, and Adventures with My Training Mates
Last weekend, I went to Universal Studios Japan for the first time with my coworkers from training—and wow, it was amazing! Honestly, it might even beat Disney. The fact that USJ can bring together all kinds of popular franchises makes it extra exciting.
We lined up at 7:30 AM and got in a little after 8. At first, we aimed for Super Nintendo World, but on the way we noticed Hollywood Dream. It had both the normal version and the “Backdrop,” so of course we went with the backwards ride! I love roller coasters, so I was thrilled. One of my coworkers was super nervous as our turn got closer, but I kept telling him it’d be fine. And then—oh man—it was terrifying in the best way. The stomach drops and G-forces were on another level compared to a regular coaster. That sudden sideways twist at the end nearly killed me, but I was screaming with joy the whole way. Definitely my number one favorite ride now. My coworker barely survived but said it was worth it.
Then came Nintendo World. Walking through that pipe tunnel and stepping into a full-on Mario universe was insane—like the game cranked up to 200%! Goombas, Koopa Troopas, ? Blocks, Pokeys everywhere… I couldn’t believe it was real. We decided on Mario Kart (not Donkey Kong), though it was a 120-minute wait. Honestly, Disney has prepped me well for long lines, so no problem. We killed time chatting about work, training, life, taking photos with Mecha Bowser and his massive library… and then finally hopped on. It was so much fun—throwing shells, grabbing coins, all while racing. The ride was long, too, which made it even better. And breaking 100 points felt great.
After that we rode Yoshi, met up with another coworker, watched the epic WaterWorld show (still amazing after all these years), and headed to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. As a fan who’s read the books (from Azkaban onwards) and watched the movies, stepping into Hogwarts was pure magic. I took so many photos of the castle, Hogsmeade, everything. Butterbeer was sweet and foamy perfection. Wands and robes were a bit too pricey though—6,000 yen for a plastic stick? I really wanted to try the interactive spell-casting, but oh well.
Later, we split up—some went to Chucky, one of us got sick and rested in the first aid center, then we regrouped for another round at Hogwarts. Even using the single rider line, we ended up sitting close together, which felt like a total win. Then we hit The Flying Dinosaur—hands down the scariest for me. As someone with a fear of heights, that ride was brutal, though maybe a good way to get over it. I couldn’t even handle second-floor balconies as a kid, so I guess I’ve come a long way.
We wrapped up with the night parade (awesome), a few more horror attractions, and the Minions ride. Oh, and shout-out to the white-painted zombie girls—they were actually kinda cute. The stilt-walking zombies were super impressive, and the chainsaw guys? Nope, too scary with that sound.
In the end, people kept dropping out, so it was just three of us still standing at the end. Come on, engineers—enjoy the theme park! 😂 We finally left after midnight because one of my coworkers got on the wrong train and we had to wait. It was exhausting but seriously one of the most fun days I’ve had in a long time. And yes, the next day we went sightseeing too—but that’s a story for another time.

Mon premier Universal Studios ! Une journée de cris, de magie et d’aventures avec mes collègues de formation
Le week-end dernier, j’ai enfin découvert Universal Studios Japan avec mes collègues de formation—et franchement, c’était incroyable ! J’oserais dire que c’était encore mieux que Disney. Le fait que le parc puisse mélanger toutes sortes de franchises célèbres rend l’expérience vraiment unique.
On a fait la queue dès 7h30 et on est entrés un peu après 8h. Au départ, on visait Super Nintendo World, mais en chemin, on a vu Hollywood Dream. Il y avait la version normale et la “Backdrop”, donc évidemment on a choisi celle qui se fait à l’envers ! J’adore les montagnes russes, donc j’étais surexcité. Un de mes collègues stressait à mort à l’approche du départ, mais je l’ai rassuré… et puis bam—quelle claque. La sensation de chute libre et les G, c’était incomparable avec un coaster normal. Et ce dernier virage sur le côté—j’ai cru que j’allais m’évanouir, mais j’ai crié de joie du début à la fin. C’est devenu direct mon attraction préférée. Mon collègue a dit qu’il avait survécu de justesse, mais que ça valait le coup.
Ensuite, Nintendo World. Passer par le tunnel-tuyau et déboucher dans un vrai monde Mario… incroyable, comme si le jeu avait été compressé à 200 % dans la réalité. Partout des Goombas, des Koopas, des blocs “?”, des Pokeys… j’avais du mal à y croire. On a choisi Mario Kart (pas Donkey Kong), malgré 120 minutes d’attente. Mais bon, avec Disney, j’ai l’habitude des longues files. On a discuté de tout et de rien, parlé du travail, pris des photos avec Mécha-Bowser et sa bibliothèque immense… puis enfin, c’était notre tour. Trop bien ! Lancer des carapaces, ramasser des pièces, tout en conduisant—énorme. Et le parcours était assez long, donc vraiment satisfaisant. Dépasser 100 points, c’était la cerise sur le gâteau.
Après, on a fait Yoshi, rejoint un autre collègue, assisté au show WaterWorld (toujours aussi spectaculaire), puis direction le monde de Harry Potter. En tant que fan qui a lu les livres (à partir d’Azkaban) et vu les films, entrer à Poudlard, c’était magique. J’ai pris plein de photos du château, de Pré-au-Lard, tout. Le Bièraubeurre était sucré et mousseux, parfait. Les baguettes et les capes, par contre, trop chères—6 000 yens pour un bout de plastique ? J’aurais adoré lancer des sorts interactifs, mais tant pis.
Plus tard, on s’est séparés—certains sont allés voir Chucky, un autre s’est senti mal et a dû se reposer à l’infirmerie, puis on s’est retrouvés pour refaire Poudlard. Même en mode “single rider”, on s’est retrouvés proches, ce qui était une belle surprise. Après ça, direction The Flying Dinosaur—et là, c’était l’horreur. J’ai le vertige, donc pour moi, c’était le plus effrayant. Peut-être que ça peut servir à surmonter ma phobie, qui sait ? Quand j’étais petit, même les balcons du 1er étage me faisaient peur, donc on peut dire que j’ai progressé.
On a terminé avec la parade nocturne (géniale), encore quelques attractions d’horreur, et les Minions. Et mention spéciale aux filles zombies maquillées en blanc—plutôt jolies, en fait. Les zombies sur échasses, impressionnants. Ceux avec les tronçonneuses ? Trop flippants avec le bruit.
Au final, tout le monde a abandonné petit à petit, et on n’était plus que trois à tenir jusqu’au bout. Allez les ingénieurs, profitez du parc ! 😂 On est finalement rentrés après minuit, parce qu’un collègue s’était trompé de train. Éreintant, mais vraiment l’une des journées les plus fun de ma vie. Et oui, le lendemain, on est aussi allés en excursion touristique… mais ça, c’est pour une autre fois.
