髪を切りました．さすがに伸びすぎだったなーと言う感じです．久しぶりに髪を結んでました．男の髪だとどうしても指どおりが悪く，結んでもガサガサ感が目立ちます．そんな髪を切りました．
どこで切ったもんかなーと悩みましたが，西千葉にも合った店のチェーンがあったのでそこに決めました．そんなにデカい系列店だったんですね．鹿児島市天文館にある店を14時に予約，時間通りです．
どうやら担当してくださった方も千葉の方で，西千葉で担当してもらった方も知り合いだったようです．こんなに離れてても縁があるもんですね．いつものように，ネットで見繕ってきた画像を見せ，こんな感じでと頼みます．
シャンプーで流して，チョキチョキ，おしゃべりも合わせて計1時間程で終わります．今回はこんな感じにするにはアイロンしないと厳しいですねと言われ，そのままやってもらう事に．
はい，良い感じです．ですが，そういつもそうですが，一度帰って洗うと次の日にはもういつも通りです．そこで言われたのが縮毛矯正するとこういうのセットもそんなに無くできるよとの事．安くないのは知ってたのでちょっと悩みましたが，朝の時間と髪へのダメージを天秤にかけよしやるかとなりました．
が，その日は時間が無かったので，翌日やる事に．と思ってたら，何か怠いちょっと熱っぽいので，一旦キャンセルするか迷い，国分で店を探すと，なんと同じ系列店国分にもありました．電車は怠いが，歩きだけならまあいいかとそちらでやる事にしました．
ホットペッパーで12時に予約し，鹿児島中央の方は朝に電話しキャンセル．朝食取って，少しYouTube見て出かけました．
ほぼ駅に向かう道と同じですが，駅とは逆側に曲がります．ほどなくして到着です．再び時間ぴったり．
手荒れが酷く手，一度靴やなんかで接客してた出戻りの方にやってもらいました．はい髪を洗い，薬に浸け，アイロンかけ，再び薬に浸け，全部で2時間半ほど，やってみると，おおぉ！これ好き！髪が柔らかいし，指どおり良いし，艶もある．靡く．これ好きです．これは帰ってからもやるしかない．研修終わるまでにまたやるかは悩みどころですね．期間が期間なので．再び同じ店に行くか，東京で行くかです．
ついでに立川にもあるそうなので，これは東京での美容室決まりましたね．羽村市の美容室利用権もらってるので，一度それも使いますが．

I got a haircut. It was definitely about time — my hair had grown far too long, to the point that I’d been tying it up lately. With men’s hair, no matter what you do, it never feels silky; even tied up it still feels rough. So, it was time to sort it out.
I wasn’t sure where to go at first, but I found a branch of the same chain I used back in Nishi-Chiba, so I booked there. I had no idea it was such a big chain. My appointment was at 2pm at their Tenmonkan salon in Kagoshima — right on time.
Funny enough, the stylist was also from Chiba and even knew the person who used to do my hair in Nishi-Chiba. Amazing how connections follow you, even this far away. I showed a reference photo, as usual, and asked for something like that.
Shampoo, snip-snip, some chatting — and about an hour later I was done. This time they told me that to get the look I wanted, I’d need to use a straightening iron. So I let them style it for me.
Looked great.
But of course — as always — once I went home and washed it, it went straight back to normal. That’s when they mentioned that if I got a straight perm, I wouldn’t need to do much styling. I knew it wasn’t cheap, and I hesitated, but thinking about time in the mornings and hair damage, I decided to do it.
Trouble was, they didn’t have time that day, so I planned to come back the next day. But then I started feeling tired and slightly feverish, so I thought maybe I should cancel. While browsing places in Kokubu, I found another branch of the same chain. I didn’t feel like taking the train, but walking was fine, so I booked there instead.
I made a Hot Pepper reservation for noon and cancelled the Kagoshima Central booking in the morning. Breakfast, a bit of YouTube, then out the door.
It’s basically the same route as going to the station, just turn the other way. Arrived quickly — again, perfect timing.
My stylist this time had returned to hairdressing after switching jobs due to hand eczema. Shampoo, chemicals, straightening iron, chemicals again — about two and a half hours in total. And when it was done… wow. I absolutely loved it. Soft, smooth, shiny, and flowy. This is it. This is the hair I want. I’ll definitely keep doing this.
The only question is whether to do it again before I leave Kagoshima, or wait and do it in Tokyo. There’s a branch in Tachikawa too, so looks like I’ve basically found my Tokyo salon already. Though I did get a voucher for a hair salon in Hamura, so I’ll try that once as well.

Je me suis fait couper les cheveux. Il était vraiment temps — mes cheveux étaient devenus trop longs, au point que je les attachais récemment. Avec des cheveux courts d’homme, on n’obtient jamais une texture douce ; attachés ou non, ça reste un peu rêche. Donc, il fallait agir.
Je ne savais pas trop où aller, puis j’ai remarqué qu’il y avait une branche de la même chaîne qu’à Nishi-Chiba. J’ai donc décidé d’y aller. Je ne savais pas que c’était un si grand réseau. Rendez-vous à 14h au salon de Tenmonkan à Kagoshima — pile à l’heure.
Et surprise : la coiffeuse venait aussi de Chiba, et elle connaissait même la personne qui me coiffait là-bas. Le monde est petit, même à cette distance. Comme d’habitude, j’ai montré une photo trouvée en ligne et demandé quelque chose dans ce style.
Shampooing, coupe, petite conversation — environ une heure. Cette fois, on m’a expliqué que pour obtenir ce look, il faudrait utiliser un fer à lisser. J’ai donc laissé faire.
Le résultat était super.
Mais évidemment, après être rentré et avoir lavé mes cheveux, dès le lendemain c’était redevenu comme avant. Elle m’a alors dit qu’avec un lissage permanent, je n’aurais pratiquement plus besoin de coiffage. Je savais que ce n’était pas bon marché, j’ai hésité, mais entre le temps gagné le matin et la gestion des cheveux, j’ai décidé de le faire.
Sauf qu’il n’y avait plus de créneau ce jour-là. Je comptais revenir le lendemain, mais je me suis senti un peu fatigué, un peu fiévreux. J’ai envisagé d’annuler, puis j’ai cherché à Kokubu — et j’ai trouvé un autre salon de la même chaîne. Pas envie de prendre le train, mais y aller à pied, ça allait. Donc j’ai réservé là-bas.
Réservation à midi via Hot Pepper, appel le matin pour annuler le rendez-vous de Kagoshima-Chūō. Petit déjeuner, un peu de YouTube, puis départ.
Le chemin est presque le même que pour aller à la gare, il suffit de tourner de l’autre côté. J’y suis arrivé rapidement — encore une fois pile à l’heure.
La coiffeuse s’était reconvertie puis était revenue au métier après une pause due à des problèmes de peau aux mains. Shampooing, produit, fer à lisser, produit — environ deux heures et demie. Et le résultat… incroyable. J’adore. Cheveux doux, souples, brillants, qui bougent naturellement. C’est exactement ce que je veux. Je vais continuer.
Reste juste à décider : le refaire avant la fin de mon séjour à Kagoshima, ou attendre Tokyo. Il paraît qu’il y a aussi un salon à Tachikawa, donc j’ai déjà presque trouvé mon salon à Tokyo. Même si j’ai aussi un coupon pour un salon à Hamura, donc j’irai l’essayer une fois.
