I experienced a lot of difficulties in life during a day, feeling like my level has been up.
Finally I got accommodation for 2 nitht Istanbul, so I wanna go to revenge against Bottakuri.
I was nervous and irritated, but tomorrow, I can.

by the way, I heard in the spot of photo, near by church with red bricks, there’s a nice chay cafe.
Events on Istanbul
It was supposed to be a smooth trip to Izu Ocean Park for diving, but plans changed.
I started worrying about the Obon traffic — maybe it would be bad, but I thought, “If I just stay over the night before, it’ll be fine.”
Then the organizer said the location might change due to weather, and we’d have to reconfirm attendance.
That’s when I decided not to go.
If the next day had been free, maybe I could have managed it.
But I had to be in Hongo early in the morning for a hospital appointment.
I had already booked a hotel for the night before, but with the holiday traffic, I wasn’t sure I could make it on time.
It’s one of those things that happens more often since my discharge from the hospital — the reality of balancing health with plans.
Since I wasn’t going diving, I decided to visit the museum in Ueno Park instead.
It would probably be packed, but as an art lover, that didn’t bother me.
Still, when I checked, the special exhibition didn’t seem to have any Western paintings.
I figured I’d decide when I got there.
By the way, I’m scheduling this post in advance, so I’ll share the museum part next time.
For now, here’s a picture of a fish my friend caught — to cheer myself up a little.
Speaking of Izu, did you know the peninsula was originally a group of submarine volcanoes located several hundred kilometers from Honshu about 20 million years ago?
Over tens of thousands of years, it didn’t move that far — which feels slow to me.
Then, about 600,000 years ago, it collided with Honshu and formed its current shape.
That feels surprisingly recent.
I’m no expert in geological time scales, so I’m never sure if these things are “old” or “recent.”
In human history, early hominids lived much earlier, and Homo sapiens appeared around 500,000 years ago.
Compared to that, 600,000 years feels kind of recent.
Thinking about it, human history is incredibly short.
In tens of thousands of years, we might be gone entirely.
But there’s something a little romantic in knowing that, even in ancient times, someone was here, looking at the same world.
Evenement a Istanbul
